Birthday Wishes

I love the "In Colors" that are in the current catalogue. I am not sure if they are going to be in the new 2011 - 2012 catalogue or not. I will see on Thursday.Oh ya ....... that's when I get my Big Shot! I can't wait.

Bliss

Ok no more sadness, only "BLISS" This is such a beautiful stamp set. For the stamped flowers and butterflies, if you can see, I have stamped them in two colors. To achieve this look you stamp the light color first - in this case Peach Parfait and then you roll the edges in the darker color, in this case Poppy Parade. I think this is a cool effect.

I am so glad that it is Friday.

Today's card is one of two sympathy cards that I have to make. Unfortunately I do not have a "With Sympathy" stamp, because I know that Tator ate that one.
I hope you like this simple card. I may change up the thread that I have in the button. I think it should be black, what do you think?

Even though I do not really appreciate the water, I sure would like to "Sail Away" right about now.

Today's post is featuring the "Sail Away" stamp set that is in the Summer Mini Catalogue. Only $11.95 - I love this stamp!

I am starting my Blog today with my first card! How exciting is that? I hope that I do not let you down.
We made this card this past weekend, at my stamp -a - stack class.

This card is using the reverse embossing technique. I used some ribbon that I had purchased off of the Clearance rack on  Stampin Up website. The flower and vines are from the stamp set "Vintage Vouge" The sentiment is from "Afterthoughts" a Hostess Level one stamp set from the 2010 - 2011 Idea Book & Catalogue (which you only have 9 days left to order from).
